Vilnius introduces a unique outdoor led screen for high-impact advertising solutions
A new large-format outdoor advertising screen has been installed in Vilnius, on the façade of the Press House building, alongside one of the city’s busiest traffic arteries. Covering 97 square metres, the two-plane LED structure is among the largest high-resolution screens in the capital and stands out on the market thanks to its distinctive angled, seamless design.
This format enables advertisers to reach traffic moving in different directions at the same time, extend audience attention, and explore more creative, non-standard video advertising concepts.
While digital outdoor advertising is becoming increasingly widespread in Vilnius, a structure of this type is a first for the market. It is a rare example of a large advertising surface successfully integrated into a building façade using advanced LED technology. The installation, located on the well-known Press House building on Laisvės Avenue in Viršuliškės, was implemented by the RADIOCENTRAS radio group.
The 97-square-metre L-shaped LED screen features a smooth 90-degree curved corner and delivers high-resolution visuals that remain clearly visible at any time of day.
“What these technical features mean for advertisers is a wide range of opportunities,” said Saulius Zakarka, Head of Marketing at the RADIOCENTRAS radio group. “Firstly, it allows us to reach audiences moving in different directions across the city at the same time. The angled design helps maintain attention for longer, even enabling dynamic, scrolling video content that follows the viewer’s line of sight. This results in longer exposure compared to conventional flat screens. Another key feature is the curved junction between the two planes, which makes it possible to display 3D-effect video content that interacts with the building façade and surrounding environment. Given its size, resolution, and construction, this is currently the only screen of its kind in Lithuania.”
He also noted that the installation has already attracted international attention: “Shortly after it was launched, we received interest from the global entertainment industry. Well-known artists with millions of international fans chose to feature the screen in a video shoot filmed across various locations in Lithuania. I cannot reveal more details until the video is released.”
The modern LED installation fits seamlessly into the rapidly evolving urban landscape of Viršuliškės. Laisvės Avenue near the Press House is one of the busiest transport corridors in western Vilnius. The screen is highly visible to traffic moving from Justiniškės towards Laisvės Avenue, from central and southern districts towards Viršuliškės or Pašilaičiai, and in the opposite direction towards the city centre, Karoliniškės, Lazdynai and Pilaitė. Its visibility is further enhanced by nearby commercial and leisure destinations such as shopping centres, gyms, and dining venues.
Mindaugas Pleskevičius, CEO of the RADIOCENTRAS radio group, said the new advertising channel strengthens the company’s offering: “Six months ago, we launched our next-generation digital radio listening platform – the Radijas.lt app – and now we have introduced a distinctive outdoor advertising screen. This clearly demonstrates how radio effectively reaches audiences across multiple platforms, complementing modern media formats. Radio delivers your message; the screen brings it to life visually.”
The RADIOCENTRAS radio group includes RADIOCENTRAS, RELAX FM, ZIP FM, RADIO R, ROCK FM, RADIO FIESTA, four online radio stations, and the Radijas.lt platform. According to KANTAR 2025 data, the group reaches more than 950,000 listeners per week and up to 475,000 per day across Lithuania).
