The training course in Austria – an opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in practice

Teams from companies “Iremas” and “Achema” which both belong to the concern participated in BAUER trainings designed for high pressure compressor operators and maintenance.

The training course was composed of two parts (Compressor Technology Level-1 and Level-2), it comprised discussions about gas compression theory and compressor operation principles, defect analysis and repairs, cleaning and air analysis systems, software updates, etc. Colleagues also participated in the practical part, which was based on disassembly, assembly and pilot launch of the compressor blocks.

According to Machine Repair Department (MRC) of company “Iremas” engineer Vytis Juozaitis, the course was designed for BAUER high-pressure compressor operators and maintenance specialists seeking to acquire or enrich their knowledge on compressor maintenance, control, troubleshooting and repair. Participants who successfully completed the training course were awarded certificates confirming the that.

Training course “Compressor Technology Level-1” granted a solid theoretical and practical foundation, whereas training course “Level-2” allowed to enhance the knowledge on more complex aspects of troubleshooting and control systems. This training course enhanced the understanding of the compressor maintenance and operation significantly as well as enabled to use the acquired knowledge in practice.
