KLASCO is proud to have become the partner of the first maritime camp for schoolchildren

The first maritime summer camp for schoolchildren started in Klaipėda. It is expected to contribute to making the maritime specialties more popular. Company “Klaipėdos jūrų krovinių kompanija” (KLASCO) has become one of the camp partners and sponsors.

“It is a great honour for our company and for me personally, as the Chief Executive Officer of KLASCO and a graduate of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy, to cooperate and support this significant initiative. Maritime education is extremely important as it does not only develop the necessary professional skills but also fosters a love and respect for the sea,” stated the Chief Executive Officer of KLASCO Vitalijus Muštuk.

The camp is organised by Lithuanian Seafarers Union and Baltic Sea Scouts.

The children attend the camp for one week only, but the agenda planned for them is rather intensive as they go on 2-3 excursions per day. During the first days of the camp the schoolchildren have already been on sightseeing tour at KLASCO territory.
