KLASCO congratulates the graduates

In accordance with the tradition, before September 1, Klaipėda Stevedoring Company KLASCO celebrated the Day of Knowledge by congratulating this year’s graduates who have patiently and successfully combined their work and studies.
According to KLASCO management, young people aspiring to excellence are the future of the company, which takes on the experience of working veterans and is receptive to innovation. It is particularly gratifying that some of our colleagues do not stop after completing their undergraduate diplomas and continue their studies at educational institutions, thinking about further career advancements.
This year 5 KLASCO employees became graduates. Sergey Galubovsky, Engineer of the Telecommunication and Information Technology Department, and Egidijus Stanaitis, Chief Specialist of the Technical Department, were awarded with Master’s diplomas in Computer Science and Production Engineering for successfully completing their studies at Klaipėda University. Acknowledgements were also given to Eglė Parakininkiene, Cargo Terminal Work Accounting Data Operator, who completed her professional studies in transport and logistics business at the College of Social Sciences.
In their greeting speech to the young professionals, the company and division leaders wished them years of service and endurance in pursuit of new personal achievements and professional heights. “Thank you for your efforts to move forward, the progress of the company can only be achieved by working together. I hope that you will not stop at the line reached and that KLASCO will not only have Bachelors and Masters but also PhDs,” said Vytautas Štumbergas, the CEO of KLASCO after awarding the graduates with the Certificates of Appreciation.
