Investing into quality: new testing equipment “OmniTest 25” in the laboratory of company “Achempak”
In order to ensure more accurate evaluation of test results and more efficient quality control, company “Achempak” purchased a new laboratory force testing device – “OmniTest 25”, developed by the world-renowned brand “Mecmesin”.
The new equipment replaced the previous testing system, which had been in use for many years but was already worn out due to intensive operation. The decision to modernize the laboratory equipment was made in order to achieve higher test accuracy and repeatability, wider testing scope, and more efficient work for laboratory employees.
“Omnitest 25” developed by “Mecmesin” is an electronic tensile testing system used to accurately evaluate the mechanical properties of polypropylene fabrics, yarns, belts and polyethylene film by applying tensile testing.
Head of Quality Department Jūratė Jankevičienė is convinced that the new equipment will assist in ensuring the quality of raw materials far better by accurately assessing their compliance with technical requirements even before the production process. This is not merely an investment into technology, but also into customer trust and a long-lasting culture of ensuring quality.
