Internet store of “Agrochema” for the farmers is launched

Internet store https://eagrochema.lt/ is launched for the farmers, agricultural companies and cooperatives. The store will offer ordering fertilizers in large quantities, liquid fertilizers in containers, plant protection measures for professional usage, seeds and other means for agriculture over internet. That is the very first internet store of such nature in Lithuania.

Moreover, there will be a self-service for farmers, where they will be able to see the history of their cooperation with “Agrochema”: contracts, orders, invoices, payments and other documents. The farmers can also monitor grain purchase prices, receive laboratory test receipts for submitted grain, see their money balance and pay their bills.

“We would like to disprove the myth that agriculture is a closed and conservative sector by entering the electronic space and offering the farmers to purchase many of our products online at any time of the day, while working in the fields or on their way there,” explained the Commercial Director of “Agrochema” Gerardas Brazaitis.

Since this electronic store will sell goods intended for professional use, it will require registration when connecting for the first time.

Last year, “Agrochema” introduced the goods for growers and gardeners to electronic commerce, supplemented them with beekeeping goods and micronutrient fertilizers. Currently, more than 350 products can be found on the store. The most popular products include fertilizers for lawns and potatoes.

“We expect that the most popular goods among the farmers and on our internet store will include the liquid nitrogen fertilizers manufactured by our company as well as Lithuanian ammonium nitrate, which the customers will be able to order complemented with a free delivery when the purchase exceeds 24 t or collect themselves at our sales points,” summarised G. Brazaitis and revealed that the company intends to expand their sales to other Baltic states.
