Easter educational workshop – tradition, creativity and a sense of community
In the lead-up to Easter, one of the most beautiful spring celebrations, several companies brought their teams together for meaningful and creative shared experiences – from festive homemade cake tastings and “Easter bunny treasure hunts” to hands-on creative workshops.
One of these initiatives took place at Achema, where employees joined a creative Easter educational session. During the workshop, participants not only learned about Easter traditions but also tried one of the oldest techniques – wax-resist egg decorating. This intricate, patient craft allows for the creation of unique patterns and offers an authentic experience of creative expression.
The session was led by folk artist Jurgita Treinytė, who introduced participants to traditional Easter egg decorating customs, techniques, patterns, and the symbolism behind different colours.
Each decorated egg became a unique piece of work, while the process itself proved engaging, unifying, and strengthening a sense of community. The workshop was filled with smiles, moments of concentration, and the sharing of experience.
It was a pleasure to celebrate traditions together, strengthen community spirit, and create a warm, festive atmosphere.
Wishing everyone a joyful and bright Easter!
