Contributed to Šeduva town anniversary celebration gladly
“Agrochema” is a socially responsible company, therefore, it strives to support community initiatives, contributes to town and district festivals all the time.
This year Šeduva town celebrated the 370th anniversary and the celebrations lasted for two days.
Historical facts prove that on the 25th of June 1654 the King of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Jonas Kazimieras Vaza granted Magdeburg rights to Šeduva. To commemorate this event a gala event called “White Evening of Gratitude” was held on the 22nd of June at Šeduva town park. The participants of this gala event wore white, the tables were decorated with white flowers. “Agrochema” presented special prizes for the participants of the gala event.
The grand event was attended by representatives of politics, religious communities, companies, institutions and etc. The elder of Šeduva town Edita Mančiauskė expressed gratitude to people and communities, glorifying Šeduva region by their work and initiatives, cherish it and bestow their kindness. There were quite many people like that, which shows that people feel the responsibility to their homeland and its residents.
The elder mentioned all the companies that contributed to the event very kindly. She also expressed immense gratitude to company “Agrochema”.
“We rejoice and are proud of our town festival, which spreads joyful mood and allows believing in the future, also becomes the symbol of unity and solidarity. Every town festival is much more than just entertainment, concerts and fairs. They also require a lot of work that lasts almost a year. We would like to express sincere gratitude to the management of UAB “Agrochema” and Deputy Head of Production Eugenijus Pranevičius for support, dignity and generosity while organising the anniversary town festival “Šeduva 370”. It is only by joining our forces that we were able to create a memorable variety of events for the townspeople of Šeduva and its guests. Thank you for creating a festival full of beautiful moments, wonderful emotions and smiles,” elatedly spoke E. Mančiauskė.
The pinnacle of “White Evening of Gratitude” was the concert of Šiauliai brass band joined by opera singers Gabrielė Bukinė and Andrius Apšega. The audience in the town park was able to enjoy the exceptional atmosphere and appreciate the beauty of music.
The next day of Šeduva town festival was dedicated to active participation and wide variety of cultural events. Sports competitions took place at the newly installed skateboard park. 8 teams that participated in beach volleyball 3×3 tournament received presents from “Agrochema”.
The second day of festivities also had its own grand moments. The most distinguished citizens of Šeduva were awarded the names of Honorary citizens of Šeduva town. The entire town was filled with music, songs, the sounds of many ensembles and dancers. The fires of summer solstice were lit. The last event of the evening was a fire show.
