An impressive Lithuanian and world record became the highlight of the congress

The long-awaited event of the European spa and balneology sector – the Congress of the European Resort and Spa Association (ESPA) – has opened, attracting more than 220 delegates from 25 countries around the world.

This prestigious event brought together the leaders of the wellness industry, the resort community, the SPA specialists, sanatorium experts and doctors, who discussed the latest trends in European balneology, sanatorium treatment and wellness sectors.

The highlight of the congress was the impressive Lithuanian and world record – the largest number of people performing the mud procedure simultaneously. As many as 82 participants, under the observation of official representatives, performed hand mud treatment together in the open-air courtyard of “Grand SPA Lietuva”.
