A small piece of cake – a large donation for children and families
On the 6th of November our concern traditionally smelled of the tastiest cakes, cookies, muffins and other delicacies – the employees gathered to celebrate the Cake Day together.
Just like every year, colleagues not only baked cakes and other delicacies themselves and invited each other for a tasting experience but also turned it all into a meaningful mission: some of the employees collected funds for families living on the verge of poverty, others contributed exclusively to the initiatives supporting children, young families or welfare of the elderly.
Our colleagues collected the funds by simply putting their donations into special boxes or by scanning QR code and transferring the funds to the selected organisations directly.
This day has proven that sometimes even a small gesture like a piece of cake of your own baking, a sincere smile or a tiny donation can encourage a big change. Everyone who contributed to the initiative became a part of the community, which takes care and supports those who are in the biggest need of it.
