A neck-and-neck game! The battle for the cup of the CEO
On the 5th of December, the annual 3×3 basketball tournament was held at “Achema” sports hall, the trophy of which was established by the Chief Executive Officer of the company Audronė Kuskytė.
Four teams qualified for the final four tournament: “Achema”, ammonia water plant, “Achema Group” concern, and “Agrochema”. Unfortunately, the concern team from Vilnius was unable to arrive due to illness and injuries, so the fight took place among three teams.
The competition was held in a round-robin format and was very dramatic – the match required overtime and the fight was very equal.
Every team celebrated one victory and experienced one loss, thus, after the tournament ended the judges had to calculate the difference in points scored.
The team of “Achema” was successful and became the winner of the tournament. Ammonia water plant took the second place, whereas “Agrochema” – the third.
After the competition, the CEO of “Achema” Audronė Kuskytė awarded the participants with cups, medals, and prizes.
