Agrochema’s fourth Customer Day held in Viduklė

Agrochema’s fourth annual Customer Day once again proved that when a community comes together, not even the rain can dampen the spirit. On 11 June, farmers, business partners and other guests from across Lithuania gathered in Viduklė for the company’s event.

The event was opened by Agrochema’s Commercial Director, Gerardas Brazaitis, who provided a brief overview of the current situation in the agricultural sector. Global and Lithuanian economic trends were presented by SEB Bank economist Tadas Povilauskas, while insights into navigating uncertainty were shared by Linas Idzelis, Commander of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union.

Participants were also invited to take part in discussions on the latest developments and challenges in the crop production, grain and fertiliser markets.

“Weather conditions, markets and geopolitics are beyond our control. What is within our control, however, are the decisions we make today. More often than not, successful harvests begin with those decisions,” said Agrochema’s Commercial Director, Gerardas Brazaitis, during the event. “Lithuanian farmers have repeatedly demonstrated their ability to adapt to challenging circumstances. We have experienced a pandemic, an energy crisis and market volatility caused by war. Yet our agricultural sector has remained strong, modern and competitive. I am confident it will continue to do so in the future.”

The event’s partners – Bayer, BASF, Ivabaltė and Hotel Palangos Vėtra – also presented their latest innovations and shared their expertise with attendees. The day concluded with a performance by the popular Lithuanian music group Šeškės.

The Agrochema team extends its sincere thanks to everyone who braved the clouds and helped create an atmosphere that warmed the day more than the sunshine itself.
