Christmas trees of Jonava companies, full of life, are already at display in Jonava Christmas tree town
This year, Jonava District Municipality has invited people to create a Christmas tree town that decorates the city centre every year. A festive tree town is already being created in Ramybės Square, with the theme “A Christmas Forest Full of Life”. This theme correlates with the slogan of 275th anniversary of Jonava, which is “Jonava – Full of Life”.
Traditionally, the employees of companies of “Achema Group” concern located in Jonava also contributed to this initiative of the city.
The composition of company “Achema”, created using fir branches, dried leaves, and moss, invites you to feel, at least for a moment, like you are in a real Christmas forest, full of animals, birds, and fairy-tale creatures, and to immerse yourself into the sounds of the forest and Christmas.
Company “Agrochema” aims to draw attention to a particularly relevant topic – the decline in the number of birds, so this year the team of employees decorated their Christmas tree not only with natural toys made from edible materials and other natural decorations, but also with bird feeders and nesting boxes.
“We believe that the nesting boxes and feeders created by the hands of our team, which will be moved to the forest after the most beautiful holidays of the year, will become a solid shelter for more than one bird family – they will help them survive the winter, preserve their lives, and delight us with their songs in the spring” – such text was an invitation, addressed to park visitors to create nesting boxes and feeders, that complemented the composition created by “Agrochema” this year. A QR code with bird melodies invites everyone to stop and listen to the sounds of a Christmas forest full of life.
This year, “Achempak” created a unique arch with birds, symbolizing forest life and the unity of man and the forest. Another meaning was granted to it in audio format – the installation emits realistic bird chirping and also invites you to experience the Christmas spirit.
The employee team of “Letenerga”, which is a branch of “Iremas”, explained that the composition they created this year symbolizes both the city of Jonava and the wonders of Christmas: “Jonava is a city full of life, with a strong heart beating in the core. Even in the darkest park or in the silence of winter, there is always a smouldering light here. Light brought by the wonderful park of Christmas trees.”
