“Iremas” was awarded for exceptional safety results at one of the largest energy projects in Lithuania

Company “Iremas” won the award of United Kingdom company “Petrofac” for exceptional contribution into the modernisation of “ORLEN Lietuva” which comprised one of the biggest energy projects in Lithuania. The award was presented for the achieved result – 5 million hours of work without a single serious safety breach.

This achievement is not accidental. That is the outcome of careful planning, accurately defined safety procedures and responsibility shown by every single employee. “Safety is not an autonomous side work. Safety means a method to work. It also depicts our attitude towards everyday work, the people and the entire process starting from planning to project completion,” elaborated the CEO of “Iremas” Edmundas Damaševičius.

The award received symbolises not only the technical know-how but also the team ability to carry out work together, following unified standards and the same values. Every number in this results is a proof of responsible work of the engineers, specialists, managers and partners.

“We express our gratitude to the whole team of “Iremas”, including our specialist, engineers, and leaders – everybody, who contribute to creating safe work culture every day. We would also like to thank our partners, who trust us and value not only the result, but also the road that we follow together,” listed E. Damaševičius.

The award stature captured the image of the project, recorded approximately a year ago and used as a reminder where it wall started and how much was achieved working together.

The colleagues who contributed to the project stated that this evaluation is yet another proof that safety and professionalism are two key values of the company and every achieved result is an expression of the teamwork work and trust.
