“Achema” was recognised as the best employer in Aukštaitija region
The manufacturer of nitrogen fertilizers and other industrial chemical products “Achema” has been recognized as the best employer in Aukštaitija region in “TOP Employer” elections of 2024. The company also ranked the 4th among the best manufacturing companies of the country.
“TOP Employer” is an annual ranking of the best and most attractive employers in Lithuania, compiled based on the assessments of employees (job seekers, current and former employees). The best employers are determined in 12 different categories, including first-choice companies (the main category), and companies nominated for voting in various business sectors and regions of Lithuania, selected according to a special methodology. Voting for employers takes place at the beginning of the year using online survey.
This year, a record number of respondents participated in the survey – even 2,755 labour market participants, and more than 800 companies from all over Lithuania competed for the title of the best employer. The survey, which has been conducted annually by the job posting portal CV-Online since 2010, attracted almost twice as many participants this year in comparison to previous years.
The “TOP Employer” elections, which have become a tradition, allow companies to check not only the brand recognition of the employer in the market and the ability of the employer to attract the necessary employees, but also to assess the competitive environment of a certain business sector at the regional and national scale. Companies that gain positive evaluation from employees and other labour market players also receive confirmation that the efforts made during the year to shape the employer image, attract, retain, and motivate employees were appropriate and did not go unnoticed.
Survey participants identified the main criteria that make an employer attractive to them:
- Offers a motivating salary and additional benefits.
- Good microclimate and friendly colleagues.
- The organization is professionally managed.
- The executive manager is an inspiring person.
- The employer ensures conditions for work-life balance (8 percent).
