“Achempak” is ready to supply packaging for robotic packaging lines
As large bulk product manufacturers transition from manual packaging to fully automated packaging lines, “Achempak” has installed new production equipment and will be able to provide customers with a wide range of big bags compressed in rolls.
For this purpose, an efficient polyethylene liner production line from an equipment manufacturer in neighbouring Poland and a roll compression press from a Turkish manufacturer were purchased. The production and commissioning of the equipment took about 8 months, currently the company seeks to get acquainted with the new technology.
“From now on, we will be able to produce inner liners that can be used in big bags with a loading capacity of 500-1250 kg. Polish engineers have also installed an automated mechanism that folds the liners, facilitating the work of the operator,” rejoiced Vygantas Aviža, the Deputy Director of “Achempak”.
The roll compression press is adapted to both single-loop and four-loop big bags, so the company will be ready to provide assistance to both existing and new customers who decide to robotize the packaging process.
It is planned that “Achempak” will be able to produce up to 700 thousand units of big bags compressed in rolls per year, and more than 1 million units of inner liners.
