Sharing knowledge on innovative manufacturing procedures

Students from Elektrėnai Vocational Training Centre (EPMC) visited Repair Mechanical Workshop of company “Iremas”. At the company they had an opportunity to get acquainted with various manufacturing procedures: from cutting blanks to painting finished products.

Later future welders visited Metal Testing Laboratory, in which a metal tensile test was specially demonstrated for them, X-ray pictures were shown, that showed the welded seams as well as what was inside them, afterwards, the students were introduced to other methods for controlling the work quality.

“After the tour we introduced everyday activity of our company in a more detailed manner at the grand hall of “Iremas”, we also allowed them to watch the entirely new, recently created videoclip of about the company, which depicted all the procedures that were not possible to witness during the visit. The visit of the students was wrapped up with “Kahoot” test and we awarded small symbolic gifts to the winners. It was a great pleasure to welcome the students from EPMC and to share the knowledge on innovative manufacturing procedures with them,” explained Company Project Manager Mindaugas Alaburda.
