Helping children of the employees to get ready for school
Recently company “Achema” presented the children of the employees, who are starting school on the 1st of September with the first-grader gift sets that contained the most necessary stationary suppliers for starting the trip down the knowledge lane. The first-grader gift set presented by the company is composed of approximately 30 different stationery suppliers, which are most frequently recommended by the elementary school teachers.
“That is more than just help for the parents, but also attention for the children as they embark on a new significant stage in their lives. The employees explain that their children are very happy to receive the first-grader gift set and the children boast to their friends and grandparents that the workplace of their mother or father presented them with a gift. The initiative to present children with special first-grader gift sets before the new school year has been maintained at the company since 2019. During these past years we have presented 230 gift sets to the first-graders in total,” told the Director of Personnel and General Affairs Aušra Matiukienė.
For more than ten years company “Agrochema” has been facilitating the preparation for the science and knowledge festivity, that most of the families commence well in advance by presenting gifts to the children of the employees who attend educational institutions.
“We congratulate everyone on the upcoming festivity, which marks a very significant time both for those studying and their parents. It has become a tradition to present bookshop gift cards before the start of a new school year to schoolchildren so that they would be able to select anything they desire the most together with their parents: schoolbag, books, stationery or maybe some toys,” stated the Head of Human Resources of the company Sonata Gabševičienė.
This year the children from 6 to 14 years of employees of “Agrochema”, who go to school or pre-school group, receive 35 EUR bookshop gift cards.
