Agrochema helps foster a group living home environment

We believe that by helping the vulnerable and weaker sections of society, we are contributing in some small way to the creation of a fulfilling life for them, as well as helping to care for the beauty of the shared environment.

This time, Agrochema contributed its products to the improvement of the environment of the Viltis group living homes in Lentvaris and Vilnius. In addition, Agrochema’s consultant Andrej Lenart gave social lessons on plant care to the residents of both houses, explaining in detail the need for and benefits of fertilisers for plants and the subtleties of fertilisation.

The enthusiastic members of the community are also planning to buy a greenhouse, so the land and fertiliser provided by the company will be useful for growing vegetables there.

“The Lithuanian Community for the Care of People with Intellectual Disabilities Viltis is very grateful to Agrochema for its care, initiative and goodwill to help people with intellectual disabilities to take care of their environment. The residents of the home are getting ready to take care of their plants responsibly, as Andrej told them everything very precisely and explained how and when to use the products,” said Ramunė Lebedytė-Undzėnienė, Director of the Community.

The Lentvaris eldership is also helping the residents of these homes, and the Agrochema team, inspired by people’s goodwill and desire to beautify the environment, donated fertilisers to revitalise the plants in the alley of the Lentvaris Youth Centre.

Colleagues are happy to contribute to the preservation of nature and the beautification of the environment, especially for the weaker sections of society. This year, for the second time, they could help the residents of a group living home for adults with intellectual disabilities at least a little and contribute to their own occupancy.
