KLASCO handled a quarter more cargo
Year 2024 for KLASCO, the biggest port handling company in Klaipėda, started with a rapid growth. During the first quarter of this year the company handled almost a quarter more cargo than during the same period last year.
“Bulk cargo was handled especially actively – their handling numbers this year increased by one third in comparison to the first here months last year, growth was also recorded in ro-ro segment – as the number of such cargo increased by fifteen percent. The biggest increase was recorded in liquid cargo category: their handling numbers during the first quarter of this year was 180 percent higher than during the same period last year.
