“Iremas” participated in the tree planting campaign, dedicated to the centenary of the Song Festival

On the 20th of April (Saturday) a national forestry campaign “Keep the Forests Green” was organised across the entire Lithuania: the tree planting campaign that was retained for decades this year was dedicated to the centenary of the Song Festival and the team of company “Iremas” contributed to it too.

“It is great that we uphold this tradition: it is not just a great opportunity to spend time outside or get a break from everyday routine, but it is also a very meaningful activity – by joining forces to implement common activity – to plant a forest for future generations. Thanks to the team of “Iremas” for excellent mood, the sense of community and meaningful activity together,” stated Aida Jankauskienė, the Personnel Director of company “Iremas”.

Every year approximately 30 million of new trees are planted in the forests of Lithuania. In order to regrow old and plant new forests, 1.5 million of tree seedlings are planted every year with the help of the society.
