What we do

The Concern Achema Group core business areas: chemical industry, energy, logistics, hotels and recreational services, media and trading. The subsidiaries of the Group operate in France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Georgia. There is a wide network of business partners around the world.

The main activity of the Company is the chemical industry – production of nitrogen fertilizers, trade of petroleum, chemical products and technical gases. The biggest company of the whole Group is AB Achema, the largest producer of nitrogen fertilizers and other industrial chemical production in Lithuania and the Baltic States.

Strategic direction in the energy sector of The Concern Achema Group is renewable energy sources from the wind and solar. In 2008 the Company purchased the electricity distribution network managing company in Kakheti, Georgia. In order to meet its energy needs, the Concern has its own cogeneration plant network in Lithuania.

Activity of the Company in the transport and logistics sector is concentrated in the port of Klaipeda where it has a significant part of the cargo business market. The Concern Achema Group also is a joint owner of liquid fertilizers terminals in Ghent and Lübeck.

By the Lithuanian-Polish border in Mockava a large intermodal rail hub and industrial park project is being developed.

In the recreation and health services sector The Concern Achema Group owns 3-4 stars hotels chain in Lithuania. Palanga and Druskininkai resorts complexes provide a wide range of health services.
The Concern Media Group has national and regional newspapers, a television and four national radio stations.

Activities of the Concern Achema Group are highly diversified. Among the dozens of companies – a confectionery factory, an insurance company, a security service, a construction and design company, a printing-house, agro trading centers AGROMAX which are operating in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland.
Decades of experience and professional team allows for the Group to effectively develop a wide range of business activities both in Lithuania and other countries.
